This timer can be used during any assessment or therapy session to give a child a visual indication of how time passes. Since the passing of time is not displayed with numbers as on an analogue or digital clock (which are many times very difficult for especially young children to read), even very young children can at a glance determine more or less how much time has passed and how much time is left within a specific period of time as set by the therapist/tester. The time can be set in 1 to 15 minutes individually and then in increments of 5 (20, 25, 30, etc.) up to 60 minutes.
